Finding Footage
The Verkada Command History player allows you to review recorded video footage from your cameras.
To view historical footage, the camera streams footage to Command, then it is delivered to your viewing device. Playback covering motion is in HQ, while times with no motion are in SQ.

Heat Mapping
Heatmaps and Bounding Boxes provide a rapid way of identifying periods of interest from a camera’s stream. Heatmaps enable a high-level overview of when and where human activity was detected within the History Player’s timeline. Then, a user can quickly scrub through footage using Bounding Boxes and the Motion Bar to pinpoint the precise time of an event. Once identified, users can simply click to view or archive high-definition video of the event.

Public archives are viewable by anyone who can view the associated camera's historical footage (Site Admins and Site Viewers).

License Plate Recognition
Verkada's License Plate Recognition (LPR) is a powerful feature that utilizes artificial intelligence and computer vision technology to identify and record license plate images in near real time, even in challenging conditions such as high speeds and poor lighting.
The captured plate number is instantly displayed on the screen and can be easily searched and accessed. With this information, organizations can set up automated alerts and streamline vehicle investigations
